Polycystic Ovary Syndrome

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a common hormone (endocrine) disorders experienced by women today. It only affects women of reproductive age, making it one of the most common causes of infertility. Acupuncture treats PCOS by regulating the body’s hormonal balance, energy (Qi) flow, and improving blood circulation. Acupuncture theory also provides dietary recommendations and lifestyle changes that can help treat PCOS. Herbal medicine is often used in the treatment of PCOS as an adjunct to acupuncture.
